THE PRO-ADJUSTER
At Kai-Zen Wellness we utilize both manual adjustments and the Pro-Adjuster technology which is used to receive spinal adjustments because it does not involve any turning, popping, twisting, or cracking that many people fear. The Pro-Adjuster analyzes the spine and vibrates the bone gently back into place which is completely customized to each individual.
How it works
The Pro-Adjuster is NASA developed technology that is a masterpiece of design and engineering. The Pro-Adjuster is an instrument used by doctors for spinal analysis and adjustment that is FDA cleared. This system uses an advanced software package designed to assist the doctor in locating and correcting subluxations and/or fixations.
The chiropractor evaluates and adjusts patients with the Pro-Adjuster while patients are seated and their spine is in mild flexion, a position allowing the joints between the vertebra to open up so each can be individually analyzed and adjusted. Based upon evaluation of an echo from a mild 6-pound percussive force on the patient from the Pro-Adjuster, a sensor reads the mechanical output. With the use of software, the chiropractors can analyze patient vertebrae via a bar graph, waveform analysis or vertebral resonating frequency. Once adjustment needs are identified, the practitioners can use the Pro-Adjuster to adjust the problem area(s). Patients can also visualize their problem and see improvement.
Piezoelectric sensors are at the core of this technology. The same sensing head is used for the testing of various materials in other science fields. The technology is used in aerospace to test tile adhesiveness and used in civil engineering to measure metal integrity. The exclusive head design has an activation pressure that is pre-set and 100% reproducible. The test pulse is consistent eliminating subjectivity.
Foot Scans and Orthotics
The Pro Adjuster also has a foot scanning ability that takes weight bearing impression images of the feet with a digital scanning system to create your unique orthotics designed to correct and support your areas of weakness.
